Okay! Wow!

The last two months have been filled with some Experience for sure!

We have been through 6 states, learning so much from each area, getting to know people from all different areas, and showing our children some of the things that make our country so beautiful! ❤️

Here's where we've been!

Missouri

(Obvious first!)

This is where we lived prior to us hitting the road!

We stayed at a couple cool places! The first one was a Free RV Park. P/W and Sewer was just down the street. All free! Was super awesome. It was actually an eagle scout project, that the city has taken care of and supports. The local chief officer loves driving by and visiting with the folks that use the hookups. He said he enjoys hearing all the stories of where people are traveling from and where they're headed!

This park is only available to occupy for 4-5 days.

A great small town amenity!

Then there was an RV park that we stayed at for a whole month! It was an awesome place to stay, minus the cell signal. They had a lot of permanent tenants, but it was a great place for us to really learn the ins and the outs. We pressed our own honey at this campsite, and got a lot of looks from others! All good things! Someone thought we were making our own Moonshine!!

That conversation turned educational, and we were able to meet some really kind folks.

Nebraska

My first thought heading into Nebraska was "eh.." oh well. It wasn't a jump for joy like some of the other states.

We traveled pretty much into the middle of the state in a tiny town, and docked for a week. We just happened to be 40-ish minutes away from the Largest Hand-Planted National Forest! Smack down in the middle of Nebraska! I wouldn't have thought!

Iowa

Iowa was beautiful, as we saw Lots of crops on the drive. The people were SO KIND! There was also a hidden understanding of life that radiated throughout the small towns we passed.

Illinois

We were passing through this state, and we didn't actually stay the night. It's a beautiful state nonetheless. Would have loved to experience this a little more!

Indiana

As we passed through the little sliver of Indiana we saw, it was very busy. We were right at the base of Lake Michigan. The outer parts of Chicago.

It was very busy, and all we wanted to do was keep pushing through. Eventually I'll see more of Indiana as time goes on.

Michigan

This was the gold nugget so far.

We stayed here for a week. Which was Not long enough! There's so much to see in Michigan. The amount of trees and life we saw, this Tops Missouri. The weather was beautiful and we found out it has a longer growing season than where we used to live!

We are definitely going back to Michigan for a more thorough walk through.

LOTS of Rocks!

These places we have been, the boys have been having the time of their lives! They are enjoying each and every day, they have been on a rock collecting rampage! And I'm having to figure out what to do with this growing collection! Yes, we even collected some gravel from the rv park in Iowa. I'm sure the boys will learn how to minimize their collecting one day.

Until next Time,

Rizzie!
