Back in November 2021, my husband and i have been serioualy contemplating how our choices have been negatively impacting our children.
We do a lot of things right, according to our standards and practices. But we fall short (Obviously! We are human after all!) And we slack every now and then.
Well if you have been listening to, or reading along our journey, you may know, during the fall time 2021, after having Linden, a lot of confusion, mis direction, and contingencies occured. It was really starting to affect the Boys.
We pondered how we might look forward and help the boys understand some of these things going on, so they could see a clearer picture.
We determined as long as we keep our eye single to the Lord, and continue to show Love to our children, they would continue to have a strong foundation, no matter the storms or catastrophes that may occur for them.
The following Sunday, it was a beautiful clear day, and it was still nice outside (not quite winter weather yet), we made a very quick, spur of the moment decision to go home, change out of our sunday dress, and go on a family walk.
It became a moment the boys enjoyed so much, they said they wanted to do it Every Sunday!
So just like that, after Church every Sunday, we would go home, change out of our sunday dress, and go on a family walk. Sometimes the boys would ride bikes along side us, and sometimes we all walked side by side.
I love how our family Sunday walks are becoming so rooted into our weekly routine! A tradition we now hold dear. Something that inspires our children, ourselves and others 🥰 (our siblings and their children joined us on a walk one Sunday!)
And I also just LOVE observing all the boys I get to raise walk along side their dad 🥰
Truly am grateful this day for the decisions we have made to look forward, and our passion of life and love
