Pay It Forward

A week or two ago, our trailer lights stopped working and we had to stop in a Walmart parking lot to try snd fix them.

Reminders from God

About 20 minutes in a guy with his wife and kids saw me underneath the truck working on it. He happened to own a trucking company stopped and said he has a shop around the corner and could help me fix them.

I asked if I could pay him via card for the help and he refused, said he has been in that position and seen folks just look and pass by. Asked me to pay it forward.

Later, we stopped at the worlds largest truck stop, where a traveling man was fleeing his past life I'm the east, heading for the rocky mountains, and was out of funds trying to get bus fair to make it to Utah.

We helped with what we had on hand, and continued on our journey.

This Just Happened

Today, as my family was eating at Dennys, a wonderful woman walked up to us asking about our 5 boys, said her name was pastor Sarah, and she wanted to pay for our meal.

She coveted a $100 bill without blinking, said the spirit pressed upon her when she saw our lovely family and how well behaved and beautiful the kids were. I said she didn't have to do that, and if she was sure. To which she simply said absolutely, thank you for coming in today, and proceeded to the desk to pay for our food. This enabled me to use the cash on hand to leave a nicer tip for our server, who didn't appear to be having a great day.

I don't know know all the details behind the scenes, but I thought it was incredibly beautiful how these events have taken place.

Don't lose Faith

Just this week I spoke to a person who said he was losing faith in humanity, and him and his wife "at the ripe old age of 28 have just recently decided not to have any kids"..

Yesterday I had a conversation with a new friend about suicide and the difficulties in raising the new generations.

Today this pastor reminded me how important it is to keep spreading the love. Keep paying it forward.
