I have loved baking Bread since I was a younger mom of 2 boys, back in 2015.
One of my BIGGEST struggles in the beginning, was how long it took to make the bread.
"All Good Things Take Time" right? Well i couldnt believe making a loaf of bread should take 2.5 hours! Esspecially since I was wanting to make bread often, due to the rising cost of groceries. I wanted to be more self reliant. So I buckled down on learning how to make bread Quicker and still have it taste ABSOLUTELY Heavenly!
I have stuck with this Recipe and I refuse to try any other way for traditional bread, because they all require more patience. Well, with now 5 boys, and a very productive life, I need to be resourceful with my time!
This 1 Hour Loaf recipe has been my ticket to pure happiness in times of need.

Recipe (1 Loaf):
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup raw honey
2 Tbsp yeast
1/3 cup Olive Oil
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp of lemon juice
3 - 3 1/2 cups flour
Instructions
Start by mixing the Warm water and raw honey, until honey is dissolved.
Add in 2 Tbsp of Active Dry Yeast and stir until Dissolved.
Let it rest for about 5 min. (there should be a foamy layer on top after 5 min.)
Add Olive Oil, egg, lemon juice, and salt. Mix until combined.
Now you will add the flour 1 cup at a time, until the dough starts to form, then add flour 1/2 cup at a time until it pulls away from the side of the bowl and isnt super sticky.
Transfer to a lightly floured surface and knead (about 2 min) forming a ball.
Lightly grease a large mixing bowl and place dough ball in the bowl. Cover and wait for approx. 15-20 min.
After 20 min, tip the bowl over and let the dough fall onto the lightly floured surface.
Knead about a minute
Form loaf and place in greased bread pan. sprinkle warm water over the top of the loaf.
Set loaf in oven, and bake until oven preheats to 345 (5-7 min)
When its done preheating, brush a little more water on top of loaf, and Bake for 30-40 min (or until golden brown/ if you check the internal temperature, it should read 190°F)
My Favorite Part, take out of Oven and brush butter over the top of the loaf!
Let it sit and cool
Slice it up and enjoy with butter and Jam. My favorite way is toasting the bread and topping it with Butter and Raw Honey! YUMM!
