Less Is More

Downsizing from a full house to an RV is not Easy at All!
We are going from having all that we need and all that we desire, to having only what is necessary for our Journey.
Step One: Less is More
The first step to downsizing a full home to an RV, is to first understand that “Less is More”.
With the common sense that we do not need a huge sectional couch in our RV when we have one built in, as well as dining, most kitchen appliances and beds. Those are obvious understandings, that make this process a whole lot easier.
It is the small, tiny things that add up in your home that takes longer and takes more processing.
Gah! I’m so not ready for this step!
I actually want to postpone doing this part, because I am a very sentimental person, and almost Every item we have in our home, I have a story, and a memory and feelings behind them. I do not like to keep Junk, but what i do have, is special to me. Even down to the last blanket. So this will be a process for me.
Knowing that “Less is More” I can come back to level ground and know that we, as Human beings, can always have a bigger capacity for more, and better, and bigger things. But we get so stuck in the loop of gathering so much stuff, we get overwhelmed and we have a breakdown ‘moment’ and we get up thinking we NEED to upgrade our capacity so we can handle what we want next. Most of the time, people think that requires you to raise your income (asking for a raise, finding a better job, working 2-5 other jobs). There are many ways to raise your income. The problem isn’t always the money, and most of the time, it won’t be the money at all. You can raise your income, yet still not have the capacity to handle more. When you get the money, you may still be angry, or hurt, or depressed, or anxious.
When you can go through every item in your home, and let go of the contracts that No Longer serve you, you give yourself more capacity.
This being every item in your ‘junk drawer’, It is called this for a reason…
This could also include what’s in your closet (Clothing/shoes/boxes/jewelry/games/movies/cds/etc)
All those bills that are not updated, that are sitting there, creating a pile.
It could be all the dirty laundry, dirty dishes, expired food in the pantry, the things you dont touch and instead move around. Your subconscious picks it all up, records it, creating a contract that you now have with it, and therefore, taking up space inside your mind. Even down to the paperclip and smallest Lego piece, there is a contract.
Clear all those up!
Less contracts, More room to UPGRADE
Which Upgrading could mean, getting the bigger and better things, or it could mean (and most of the time means) you have created more free time for yourself and your family. As well as creating a level of Order, therefore Money starts to flow into your life!
Much Love,
Rizzie!
