Garden With Your Children

If you garden alone but you have a family, you are missing an incredible opportunity. A Permaculturist doesn't mind the kids stomping on a few plants here or there, or the occasional pulling them out completely. (Ehem...) Because there's SO much abundance, the benefits of those feet and tiny hands in the soils FAR FAR FAR outweigh the mess they some times leave behind. Get your soul right, in the garden.. yes. Plant to your hearts content all your favorite things... yes. Go the extra mile to ensure the garden is safe, protected, and preserved... yes. But don't you leave those kids out of the dirt.
