Bees are something quite incredible. While likely the best known name in the pollinator world, it's never been on my task list to buy or build a hive. Despite always having the desire, it just never made it there. When our stake sent the message to grow our faith through a bee project, I still didn't add getting my own hive on my to do list. It was part of our end game to have hives on the properties, for their honey, comb, bee bread, antibiotic and other health benefits and surplus, aside from the incredible benefits the food forest recieved from these little armies. But we never did it. Now, I see the greater picture. And what the lord has in store for our little family, and the ways we can help to support others, is all becoming more clear as our efforts continue toward our little chunk of heaven, we like to call our family Faith Haven. I am looking forward to what this season will bring. These 2 photos of honey bees on the wheeping cherry tree at Lulu's Garden was taken by my wife, with a cell phone. As far as I am aware, there are NO bee keepers in anywhere near us. But like an incredible sign from the heavens, just a day or two after i was asked to serve others through hrlping to coordinate a bee project effort, the entire tree was BUZZING with hundreds of honey bees. This tree is the only one in Full bloom around our home and neighbors. It bloomed early, and these little guys, coming out of winter food supplies, found it a miraculous treat as everything else is just barely beginning to bud this week. I've never seen so many honey bees in one tree. You could see the Pollen on their legs, each carrying their load from flower to flower. What a special sight this was. What a beautiful tree this is. What a World! I am constantly amazed by the changing seasons. God is so Good to us.
